Funmilayo Charity Foundation Brings Relief to Unilag Security Unit: A Commitment to Caring for the Needy
In line with our motto, Caring for the Needy, Funmilayo Charity Foundation recently embarked on a meaningful initiative to support the hardworking security personnel at the University of Lagos (Unilag), Akoka, Yaba, Lagos. This charity work reflects our ongoing dedication to improving the lives of individuals in essential roles and providing them with tools to better perform their duties.
The University of Lagos, known for its dynamic campus environment, is home to a dedicated security unit that ensures the safety and well-being of everyone on campus. These security officers perform an important role in keeping the university safe, often facing various weather conditions while on duty.
Recognizing their efforts, Funmilayo Charity Foundation stepped in to offer a helping hand. Our team donated spacious umbrellas and durable raincoats, designed to help them perform their work more comfortably, especially during the rainy season.
We were warmly received by Mr. Sunday Alao, the Chief Security Officer (CSO) of Unilag’s Security Unit, who expressed his appreciation for the thoughtful gesture. Mr. Alao highlighted that these donations would significantly enhance the ability of the security personnel to continue their work in all weather conditions, ensuring they are better equipped and more comfortable in their roles.
