Empowering Students: JAMB and WAEC Sponsorships
This year, we successfully sponsored 80 students to take the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examinations, a critical step for higher education admission in Nigeria. Additionally, we sponsored 30 students to sit for the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WAEC). These examinations are not just tests; they are gateways to dreams, career opportunities, and life-changing success.
Many of these students come from families that cannot afford tuition, study materials, or examination fees. Without support, their dreams of pursuing higher education would be at risk. Our sponsorship ensures that financial constraints do not hinder their potential.
Supporting Admission and Student Loans
Sponsorship is only the first step. Funmilayo Charity Foundation goes beyond examination fees. We actively assist students with gaining admission into higher institutions and help them navigate the often-complex process of accessing the Federal Government student loan through NELFUND (National Education Loan Fund).
NELFUND provides financial support for tuition fees and monthly stipends, enabling students to focus entirely on their studies without the stress of financial burdens. By helping students access this program, we are ensuring they have both the resources and the confidence to succeed.
